About this tool
Open Graph metadata controls the preview people see when a page is shared in a chat, social feed, or bookmarking tool. A title, description, image, canonical URL, and site name give a crawler enough context to build a useful card instead of guessing from visible page content. This previewer lets you test those fields together and compare four distinct treatments inspired by Twitter/X, Discord, Telegram, and LinkedIn. It also warns when the title or description moves beyond practical sharing limits. Limits are guidelines rather than universal hard cutoffs: devices, clients, fonts, and localization affect truncation. Use a concise title that identifies the page, a description that explains the benefit, and a landscape image with important subjects away from the edges. The image URL must be publicly reachable by the platform crawler; a local development URL will not produce a real social preview. The generated snippet includes core og tags and a large-image Twitter card declaration. Add it to the document head, then validate the final deployed URL with each network’s current debugger because crawlers cache previews. This tool does not fetch the image or publish metadata. It simply renders the values in your browser, making it safe for drafting campaign cards, article shares, product launches, and link previews before deployment.
