About this tool

Text copied from documents, chat applications, and websites often carries formatting that is invisible until it causes a problem. This cleaner gives you a predictable, local workflow for removing that noise. You can trim leading and trailing spaces, collapse repeated blank lines, remove Markdown markers or HTML tags, and deduplicate identical lines. Emoji removal is available when a plain ASCII-oriented export is required. After cleaning, a separate case conversion can turn prose or identifiers into camelCase, snake_case, kebab-case, PascalCase, CONSTANT_CASE, title case, lowercase, or uppercase. The transformation runs as you type, so it is easy to compare the original input with the result and see character, word, and line counts. Case conversion treats punctuation and separators as word boundaries and keeps letters and numbers in the resulting identifier. For content intended for readers, review the output because stripping Markdown intentionally removes emphasis, links, and list syntax. For data exports, deduplication compares complete lines after the selected whitespace processing. Nothing is uploaded: your text remains in the browser. This is useful for cleaning notes, preparing CSV-like lists, normalizing copy for a CMS, or turning a rough label into a code-friendly name. Use the toggles independently and combine only the transformations that match your intended output.
